Security First Bank is a Nebraska-chartered, privately held community bank with 36 branch locations and 12 insurance offices throughout Nebraska and southwest South Dakota. We provide community banking services from the farm and ranch towns in rural Nebraska to the hub cities of Lincoln and Rapid City. Each branch is managed locally, and our employees are part of the communities we serve. This gives us valuable local perspective and a personal commitment to servicing your financial needs.

In 1898, nine ranchers in northwestern Nebraska started Stockmens National Bank of Rushville, Nebraska. Fast forward 125+ years, Stockmens National Bank – now known as Security First Bank – has grown to encompass 36 bank branch locations, 12 insurance offices, one loan production office, and employs nearly 350 people throughout Nebraska and southwest South Dakota.
For over 125 years, we’ve been “the bank” of our communities. As we celebrate and reflect on our history, we remain committed as ever to meeting the financial needs of the families and businesses we serve – now and for generations to come.
